RULES OF THE GAME
Croquet can be played by two,four, six or eight players, by teams or individually. If there are less members in one tearn, one player should play with two balls.
To start, race out the plan according to one of the opposite diagrams placing the pegs and hoops on a pièce offlat ground 20 x 14 meters. If there is not enough space the overall plan can be reduced.

Every player tosses a mallet and a bail with a colour to match and be places his bail 25 cm ahead of the first peg. Croquet is played by following the order of the colours painted on the pegs : every player in bis turn tries to succeed in hitting his bail through the first hoops.
If the hall does not go through the first hoop, the player collects his bail and the next player bas his turn. If the bail goes through the first hoop the player continues, but if he misses the second hoop the baP remains in the game where it was hit.
The object of the game is tc, hit the all through ail the hoops according toi the order shown in the plan. The players start by hitting the first peg than continues through the hoops until the back peg which be must bit and he then continues and must end by hitting the first peg again.
If the player succeeds in passing his hall through one hoop he can have another go. If the player hits the bail through two hoops in one go the bas the right to have another two turns. He stops playing when he misses his bail or when the bail does not pass through the right hoop.
The first player to hit his bail through ail the hoops and return to the first peg is the winner. He then withdraws his bail and waits for the others to finish.
If the player hits his bail through a hoop and then the bail hits another bail the player has the right to «croquer». This means that the player places his bail next to the hall he bas bit, places his foot on his own bail and with his mallet be hits his own ball so that the opponent's bail is krocked as far as possible out of the garnie. The player then bas the right to have another go, but he can lose this right if, in hittinq bis ball,the bail moves from under his foot or if bc hits another bail.
